My first contact with a cappella was when a MAYBEBOP record was brought back by my parents from a concert — I was around 12 at the time. Over the next few years, I discovered that I rather liked a cappella as a whole, not just this one group. The passive passion transitioned into a much more active approach when I found myself founding the first mixed group during my university career, providing bass, VP and arrangements for them for three years. After graduation, I settled on joining a choir while maintaining my arranging and vocal percussion practices, as well as providing coaching in both. I also try to never miss London A Cappella Festival and stay on top of anything that the internet allows me to participate in.
